As we approach the Christmas break, the other U9s coaches and I would like to say a special thank you to all the U9 players for making this season such a rewarding and positive experience so far.

This season has seen the boys progress from tag rugby to full contact. Some boys have taken to the contact side of rugby quicker than others, but that’s exactly what this year is all about, helping all the boys enjoy the physicality of rugby in a safe, controlled and enjoyable way. Their attitude, bravery and willingness to learn has been fantastic. As parents, you should all be incredibly proud of your children.

We’ve got one more fixture (Sandbach) before the Big Man in the red suit and white beard arrives.

All the U9 Coaches would like to wish all the U9s players and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you all in the 2026.
