A BIG THANK YOU to our wonderful Wilmslow Half Marathon runners who are raising funds for our Special Tag Rugby Squad

The Special Tag Rugby Squad lined the route of the Wilmslow Half Marathon route to cheer on Gemma Nadin, Ali Weeks and Marie Claire who completed a magnificent run, coming in at 1hour 59 minutes. Their target was to come in under 2 hours! WELL DONE GIRLS and thank you so much to all their generous sponsors. Money raised will go to help fund the Special Squad attend a tournament at Worcester Warriors in May and also help to meet expenses for their summer 'tour' to Lea green near Matlock Bath. The girls were supported by Joe Weeks and it was also great to see Gareth Matthews who completed the course in 1 hour 19 minutes
The day was rounded off by a buffet and demonstrations of the Tag rugby squad skills at Headlands Rd.
If you want some fun, come and join us on Sundays at the Club. We will be strutting our stuff until July. We would love to see you and could do with some volunteers to join in to help us hone our skills before a visit to Worcester and performing at Old Trafford on June 9th when we will help to entertain at half time.
It's rugby Jim, but not as you know it! Come along. You'll have a great experience!
