The mighty Stockport under 7s took to the road last week for their first ever away match, playing against one of the largest (and furthest) teams we'll meet this season but, despite the early start (and the undoubted late night at the fireworks the night before), the team didn't disappoint. The squad was broken down into 4 teams, each playing 4 matches with the addition of a "2 pass" rule which did a great job of ensuring that all players were involved equally throughout the games.

All teams played brilliantly, listening to the coaches and improving with each game. Both parents and coaches were impressed with the teamwork on display and the continuing improvement we see week-on-week. In particular it was great to see the players formation improving during the day with each team in the final games lining up in defensive or attacking lines like a well oiled machine. This makes a great start to the U7s away career and sets us up brilliantly for the weeks to come.
