Our U9 team welcomes children in Year 4 who are ready to take their first steps into contact rugby. Having progressed from tag to tackle, this is an exciting stage where players begin learning the core skills of the game tackling, passing, and running with the ball in contact situations all delivered in a fun and supportive environment.

Safety is our top priority. We maintain a strong player-to-coach ratio of 4:1 to ensure every child receives focused guidance while developing both their rugby skills and an understanding of the sport’s core Rugby values. Our goal is to nurture a lifelong love of rugby, the same passion we share as coaches.

We’re actively looking for new players to join our squad. If your son or daughter is interested, we’d love to meet you. Come along to one of our training sessions or home fixtures, introduce yourself to one of our coaches, and we’ll make sure your child receives a warm welcome from the team.
